Peace for Peaceful Kadekal

Report : From last few days, some of the Right Extremist forces are trying to create violence in our Peaceful Kadekal. Kadekal is a village where people of all communities live together peace full from many decades, today the delegation of Kadekal citizens met to the Deputy Commissioner of Police Shimoga Mr. Ikkeri and complained against them.

Mr. Saleem Khan, Ex-President, Village Panchyath Kadekal, met the Superintendent of Police along with the Delegation of Kadekal Citizens. Honorable Deputy Commissioner of Police has promised that they will take action against the culprits and Mr. Kumara Swamy, in-charge and the investigator of the case, requested the delegation to maintain the Peace and harmony as usually in the village.

Kadekal Historical:

KADEKAL has a natural history of about 2000 years, People lived here even before the Pre-Historic period.  no evidence are available because of the (c.1700-800BC) and from the Iron Age Megalithic (c.900BC, 1st century AD) as well as the Early Historical period(c.3rd century BC-2nd century AD).

Kadekal Geographical:

Kadekal is 12 km from Centre point of the Shimoga city, (from Ameer Ahmed Circle), it locates in the west of Shimoga Dist.in the way of Kadekal there are so many villages are located like " Mattur, Siddarahalli, Kuskuru, etc, they also having there own history.

example mattur is a one of the earlier village of Shimoga it is one of the oldest Sanskrit village, now also peoples are speak in Sanskrit in Mattur village.

Kadekal Political:

Kadekal has faced more than 30 Gram Panchayath elections, it having 4 Gram Panchayath Members, and it is a part of Tirthahalli Assembly Constituency, and Shimoga Lok Sabha Constituency.

Peoples Of Kadekal:

Now a days Kadekal village having more than 2000 population, it includes  Muslims & Hindus, Muslims and Hindus are living in with peace  and Harmony, they are all pledge for Brotherhood, and live like a Brothers, peoples are speak in Kannada & Urdu, some of Hindu Brothers also Speak in Urdu also they also understood Urdu language.
